We're getting married in Adare, County Limerick, followed by our reception at Kilshane House, County Tipperary, which is about a 45 to 50 minute drive from Adare. Guests may wish to stay in Adare before the wedding and move closer to Kilshane House afterwards. Please book early and organise your transport well in advance, as both areas are rural and accommodation is limited.

We recommend flying into Shannon Airport. It's the easiest airport for the wedding, as Adare is only around 25 to 30 minutes away by car. Shannon is also approximately one hour from Kilshane House, making it the best overall option.
Cork Airport is another possibility and is approximately one hour from Kilshane House, but it's less convenient for guests travelling to Adare first.
Dublin Airport is also an option if the flights suit you better, just allow a little extra time for the onward journey as it is a good couple of hours drive away.
We advise renting a car or travelling with friends or family who will have one. The wedding involves travelling between two counties, many of the accommodation options are in the countryside, and taxis can be difficult to find. If you won't have access to a car, we'd recommend arranging any lifts, taxis or private transfers in advance, just to make the day as easy as possible.
Options for guests who would like to stay in Adare the night before the wedding or remain in the area after the celebrations. For guests who'd prefer a larger selection of city hotels, Limerick City is approximately a 25 to 35 minute drive from Adare depending on traffic.
